ANSWER: Well, no reason not to,
but it's really a matter of deciding between the relics of yesteryear and buying one of those 'cute', hand crafted, 'old fashioned' pieces of nostalgia - or going with our more sophisticated, mass produced, high tech modern day pianos; Today's product ... which in theory should be "Better value", being made for an era in which reliability and warranty considerations are of prime importance to piano buyers.
One gets ( 'tis hoped ) what one pays for... though clearly, with choices limited by our Budget, even a couple of thousand dollars may not get you much musical "integrity".
With that in mind, here are the options -

Colin's been around pianos for 50 years and half of that was around Australia, as a professional player. In 1980 he stopped entertaining the drunks, became a Music Teacher, started doing restorations, Piano Tuning and Repairs as well.
