ANSWER : The little old convertible is my 1929 Austin Seven and back in the early 1980's, it was for sale at just a couple of thousand dollars. Can't imagine what it might be worth now...

Ideal family car ?
Seating capacity 2 plus small picnic basket !!!
Never used for much more than leisurely weekend drives.
Always stayed close enough to return home by taxi if necessary.
At 75 years old, we reckoned this old classic car might spit the dummy anytime!

Good advertising though; Has attracted some attention and with ebizthings.com signs on each door - this tiny Vintage Car has turned more heads than any Porsche I've ever seen.

Day to Day Motoring ? We bought two cars in 1998.
One for her - one for me.
Both new cars and we didn't have the cash...
Needed some help with finance. Car Dealer happy to organise a car loan : )
It was our bank that came to the rescue!
Best deal I could find was not a Car Loan; Not a Second Mortgage... but
Refinancing: Decided instead to re finance the existing home loan, interest rates being a good bit lower than other forms of finance available at the time.
Got some extra to spend on the house as well...

Compare Interest Rates & see if it makes sense.
Not always an option for those who don't have equity in real estate, but an excellent method of purchasing your new car, or cars if you Do have... One small disadvantage, of course:
We'll still be paying for those two cars until the home loan is paid off !
But the payments don't hurt a lot - and we might do the same again one day soon!
