Seven years ago, I created a free advice page and needed a web page host. One of the first web hosters I used still has our account.
They do not have an affiliate program so I do not receive any money at home from them. My own internet business was built on a unique concept - I provide free advice. It is now a world famous service... but we physically sell no product.
Affiliate income is produced from links to various merchants whose products are of interest to our visitors.
ADSENSE also produces a return from those who participate in the ppc advertising seen on our web pages. Having a popular and well trafficked web site means that a percentage of visitors request additional services - I am a teacher as well as a technician servicing and repairing certain equipment.
My ultimate goal however, is to earn money online simply by revealing ways to make money on the internet and clearly, others will be looking for such opportunities indefinitely.
Having read this far you might appreciate that my experience is extensive, but I am no Trump or Gates.
I made many mistakes and have learned much.
If I had the chance again I would do it all differently...

Money making schemes are rife on the internet and you can easily be tricked if you believe all the promises of quick wealth.

Purchase domain name : For cheap domain names either do a search, or you can simply register internet name containing keyword or words. For example : We wanted to be associated with ebiz things. Went seeking a useful but cheap domain - I'm thinking "ebiz" and dot com ... but info on registering domain name soon reveals there are no real opportunities left. No ebizzes available?
Oh come on ... It needs to be ebiz-something !
I'm still keen to do this ebiz thing. AHA ! So what about "ebizthings" ! Let's see ? YES ! "ebizthings.com" is available ...
Registering domain "ebizthings.com", it appears to have plenty going for it and I will certainly have a few years worth of that - please!
Nowadays, to register domain names we use only one registry service.
Some 4 years ago however, to purchase domain "ozpiano.com", a domain registering discount at SharpRegister.com influenced my decision.
A domain search 3 years later revealed that our site was no longer being hosted and I can get no response from SharpRegister to recent emails asking them to acknowledge my "ownership" of the domain. We are off the air right now. Same could happen to you? Domain name registry procedure is to send mail to the email address of the account. We are no longer with that internet service provider and Sharp don't seem to be interested in helping us out. Another mistake to learn from ???
Moral : When you change your service provider - Don't forget to inform everybody ! Pronto !!!
Domain registration tip : Get with the strength. Pay a bit more per month if you must. Cheapest domain registration is seldom best.
Some who'll register a domain name provide a domain parking service - and now we employ free domain parking wherever possible. After domain name registration you can configure your parking, so that your page exists just exactly as it would on any paid hosting service.
Down side? Single page only... One parked page per domain is all you get! Got it ?
Best hosting ? Avoid FREE hosting !!!!!!!!
Cheapest way around that ? First you buy a domain (domain names are available for less than $10 these days) and if one page is all you need, then domain parking can be just as effective as any web hosting around. From adwords I get pay per click traffic. With our domain registry service offering cheap domain registration, cheap web hosting AND free domain parking, I have now had some domains parked free for years.
Means this web page host charges me Nothing. It's permanent - no domain parking renewal ever required; And yet I can amend page layouts 100 times per day if necessary. The Search engines seem to treat each of these parked pages as an authentically hosted web page (whereas they usually decry free hosting services - perhaps because of the compulsory advertising you must display in return) With my parked pages there is no size restriction; I can insert as many links back to my main website as needed - affiliate links too.
Low cost hosting ? Some domain parking examples :

These are One Page domains. Take a look - they have been running non stop for years!!!
Admitedly, they're just one page each.
But if you want cheap website hosting, take it from me - there's no significant down time.
Our web host seems to be online pretty well 100 percent of the time and my visitors see no "advertising" banners or pop ups like you find with many hosting services.

Maybe they'll wake up to themselves soon? Probably not... unless you blab or complain about the parking or hosting services you're officially not entitled to !?! Anyway - to register domain, simply go to any domain registrar
Look up domain name that you'd like - if not avail then buy domain name with any reasonable keyword in the title : What about ......."www.azf39xxx123money.com" ?

I was a little hasty and made some errors early on. May I suggest you play around with the domain name selection process for a few days and don't get too excited, too soon.
